  • Details

Pravastatin sodium tablets 10mg Why do I need this medicine? Pravastatin helps lower your cholesterol level.

Excessive cholesterol in your body can clog up your blood vessels. This can lead to many health problems such as strokes and heart disease, including heart attacks.

Pravastatin is meant to be taken as part of a complete cholesterol management programme that should include exercise, a healthy diet and lifestyle.

  • Directions

How do I take this medicine? Take Pravastatin exactly as directed by your doctor. Do not take more or less than instructed by your doctor.

You may take Pravastatin with or without food. Try to take it at the same time each day.

Pravastatin must be taken regularly for it to be effective. Continue taking Pravastatin even if there are signs of improvement. Do not stop taking Pravastatin unless instructed by your doctor. What should I do if I have forgotten to take this medicine? Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and return to your normal dosing schedule.
